When you mentioned snorkel I wondered what the devil you were talking about. Being curious I took off the seat and really looked at the intake to the air box. I never realized it was a separate rubber piece! Why do you suppose that Suzuki added this piece? Maybe to quiet the intake noise somewhat? It comes off easy enough, so I will give my bike a try without it.
